Explore Hartford’s Arts and Culture Scenes During Envisionfest, Returning for Its 5th Year on Sept. 17

The 5th Annual Envisionfest is coming back to Hartford on September 17. Produced by iQuilt Hartford Partnership, a group of Hartford-area nonprofits dedicated to the arts and culture throughout the city, the day boasts over 100 events in one for all ages to explore.

One of the perks of this celebration is free admission to the Connecticut Science Center, Wadsworth Atheneum, Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, and Connecticut’s Old State House. Once you check those off your list, check out Bucknell Park, which serves as an unofficial home base for the city-wide event. There will be entertainment for youth and adults alike, with things like giant chess, jenga, checkers and ladderball games, stilt walkers, arts and crafts options, and a marketplace with vendors galore. The marketplace will be full of creative minds selling everything from wood carvings, paintings, and screenprinted apparel to jewelry and home goods.

Once you work up an appetite, visit the food truck row behind the marketplace for food options galore!
