Don’t Miss the Grand Opening Celebration of Heirloom Market on May 28

If you’re looking for a place to find locally sourced food and produce, you need to check out the brand-new Heirloom Market at Comstock Ferre. (Fun fact: Comstock Ferre is the oldest seed market in the United States!) In January, a local Hartford couple decided to breathe new life into Comstock Ferre by opening a market dedicated to providing non-GMO, local, and organic products.

From a full floor of seeds and gardening equipment to a small cafe and grocery shop, there is a lot to look at. And that's not even making mention of all of the fresh fruits and veggies and artisanal products! The in-house cafe boasts a wide-variety of coffee beverages crafted from locally roasted beans, plus various pastries and fresh juices, sandwiches, even pork tacos. Visit for breakfast or lunch.

From the moment you enter you’ll feel the old “New England Charm,” according to new visitors. Visit on May 28th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for their official Grand Opening celebration paired with a Spring Planting Festival!
