Education Masquerades as Entertainment at the Lutz Children’s Museum in Manchester

Since 1953, the Lutz Children’s Museum in Manchester has provided a safe and nurturing environment for little ones to learn while also having fun. Designed for kids between the ages of 2 and 10, interactive exhibits invite young learners to experience everything from art to science. Current exhibits include a Main Street 1953 exhibit for a step back in time, a farm exhibit where they can milk a cow or collect eggs, a youth art gallery, collections gallery with all sorts of artifacts, and even rescued animals to meet, like the resident chinchilla and his friends!

The museum also strives to provide quality programs inside and outside the museum. They offer a variety of programs for all ages at the museum, as well as on the road at local schools. Keep the museum's all-ages summer camp in mind for next year; kids get to delve into nature with the Oak Grove Nature Center.

Admission to the museum is affordable at $7 per person, and babies under 1 year are free.
