It only took Steven Murray—or "Cheeks," as his friends call him—less than a year to take Cheeks Chicken & Waffles from a food truck to a permanent brick-and-mortar location in Manchester. That's thanks, in part, to fans of the business, who offered their unwavering support in the form of frequent take-out orders. But their loyalty really has to be credited to the man behind the chicken, Chef Steven, who crafts crispy wings with just the right amount of breading and minimal oil.
Try the classic wings over a crispy waffle or opt for breaded tenders and a waffle. If you'd like your chicken served in a sandwich, the original "Cheekin'" sandwich features crispy tenders, and the Cheekin spicy offers an added dose of heat. Bone-in and boneless wings, as well as crispy nuggets, round out the menu at Cheeks. Add a side of your favorite house-made sauce—the Carolina Reaper comes highly recommended.
