This winter, hit the slopes at Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort, one of the largest mountains in Connecticut. During the spring, summer, and fall, the mountain serves as the perfect backdrop for mountain biking. But when ski season takes over on November 1, the mountain transforms into a winter sports haven.
Season lift tickets with your standard adult season pass run you $550, but if you purchase before November 30, you can snag the discounted rate of $445. Youth season passes and night-time season passes both offer lower rates than the adult pass. If you’re just interested in going for the day to try it out first, lift tickets start at $34 for night-time skis to $55 for a full-day flexible pass.
Rentals are available for those who don’t have their own equipment, and Powder Ridge also offers lessons for those looking to learn the basics before hitting the slopes. If skiing or snowboarding isn’t in the cards, try tubing!
